Money Saving Ideas for School

Monday, November 5th, 2007

We can always use money saving ideas, right? The money saving section at Idea Queen we’ve been dying to add on to, and finally got another page up. Hopefully there will be a few more to come soon.

Anyway, you can now find money saving ideas for school under the money saving section. While it’s long past “back to school”, hopefully these will arm you for next year or even help with up-coming after school activities.

As always, if you have something to add to the site, be sure you use the contact form to send in your ideas! If you need more tips for saving money, also see our full section on money saving ideas.

Saving Money on Groceries

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

Christmas isn’t far away, and we could probably all use some help saving a bit more money. The first place you can start to adjust your budget is groceries. After all, that’s the easiest place to start because you can always take some shortcuts on your shopping.

There is a page on Idea Queen specifically for saving money on groceries, so I won’t repeat what’s already there. Instead, I want to hear YOUR best tips on saving money in the store. What have you done in the past to cut your bill down? Did you switch stores? Cut coupons? Switch to a cheaper brand? Let us know!

Post your tip here, or submit it using the form on the page that’s already there. We’ll be sure to give you full credit for your idea.

Can’t wait to see those ideas!

Money Saving Ideas for Kids

Friday, September 21st, 2007

A brand new page is now up on Idea Queen. If you need some simple money saving ideas for kids, come take a peek! Some may think these are a little TOO simple, but sometimes that’s all it takes to spark some new ideas.

The page is split into two sections - saving money for parents and saving money for kids. One half is for parents to pick up some tips on how to save money for their kids (such as for a college fund). The other half is how to teach kids to save money.

If you have your own ideas, please be sure to share!
