Fresh Salsa Recipes

It’s about the end of the tomato garden season, so this will be our last chance to make some delicious fresh salsa recipes. I must admit though, I’ve never made fresh salsa from a “recipe”. It’s one of those personal taste things that require your own notes to make perfect.

What I can tell you is what my fresh salsa recipes always start with. The exact ingredients and directions are listed on our salsa recipe page on Idea Queen. MY normal recipe includes only the following:

- 3 or 4 Tomatoes
- 1 or 2 Green Peppers
- 1 or 2 Jalapenos
- Garlic Salt

Yup that’s it. I don’t add onions or anything else fancy. Just throw them in and bring to a boil. I let it simmer for awhile until it gets a bit thicker. Did I mention this all comes out of the garden? You can’t get much more “fresh” than that!

If you are in need of some additional fresh salsa recipes, be sure to see the ebook on this particular page. There’s over 125 included (which I would have never thought there was THAT many ways to make salsa!). A very interesting read with some fantastic ideas though. ;)
