Before you start in on any handmade Christmas card ideas for kids, you'll need to first gather your supplies. The possiblities are endless here, but the following list should give you an idea of what to use.Supply Ideas:

Making Christmas Cards
Make sure the kids have plenty of room to create all kinds of crafty Christmas card ideas. You can do one of two methods here:1. Give the kids instructions on what to put where on their cards.

Whenever my kids make any type of crafts, I usually just let them have at it. I may give them a general idea of what we are doing, but the creativity comes directly from them.
For example, I'll let them pick the color of construction paper they want to make their card from. Once they choose, I'll fold the card in half for them and draw something simple on the front or inside. The rest is completely up to them.
Sometimes if they want to work with glitter, I'll draw the design in glue and let them sprinkle the glitter on the paper. Other times I'll let them do the designing. While it's important your children express their creativity, it's alright to give them a little help from time to time so they have a finished product they are proud of.
Decoration Ideas
