Kids are usually pretty good about coming up with their own creative ideas for gifts, although sometimes they may need a little help. Cards are one of the easiest Christmas gift ideas for kids to make. You can get really involved with this particular craft, and use just about anything on the card.

Crafts

Kids love crafts, and making them for Christmas is no exception. The following inexpensive Christmas gift ideas for kids to make are simple crafts with a special child-like touch. You can also see our page for general crafts for kids for more ideas.

Decorated Jars
A useful gift, and you can even put certain items inside to make it extra special. A little paint, glue, and decorations can make a beautiful gift for any child or adult. You can pick up jelly jars at your local hardware store, or pick up any kind of jar from any store. You might also want to check garage sales for unique looking jars to decorate.

Decorated Jewelry Boxes
Similar to the idea above, but you'll want to start with an empty wooden box, which you should be able to find just about anywhere. If you have trouble or don't want to search, S&S Worldwide has plain small hinged boxes for a pretty good price. Let your child choose the decorations on the box, and what they want to put on it.
