Projects for Bored Toddlers

August 28th, 2007

When your toddler is bored, saying “go play” isn’t an option. It’s a cue they really want to spend some time with you. Luckily there are tons of things that will keep bored toddlers busy for hours on end.

There are two main sections at Idea Queen you can look at when looking for projects for bored toddlers. One of these sections is the free craft ideas for kids. While most of the crafts listed are great for any age, some of the more “toddler specific” crafts are the following:

- Homemade Toy Boxes
- Colorful Name Pictures
- Magnet Crafts

In addition to the specific ideas above, there’s also many seasonal craft ideas that are perfect for little ones as well. More specifically the Christmas ornaments, Christmas gift ideas, and other random crafts.

The second section on Idea Queen where you can find projects for bored toddlers is the activities for kids page.  The majority of the ideas listed here are specifically FOR toddlers, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding something fun.

This page is broken down by type of activity and game, and include some of the following projects for bored toddlers:

- Indoor Toddler Activities
- Outdoor Toddler Activities
- Easy Recipes for Kids

There are many other ideas listed on this page that work for both toddlers and older children as well.  If all else fails, you may want to check out our craft book which features all kinds of crafts submitted by many different moms! This craft book can also be found on the pages above.
