Submitted Pork Chop Recipes
The following recipe was submitted by one of our visitors, who choose not to be named. It's not fried pork chops, but sounds delicious anyway!"Stewed" Pork Chops
4 thin pork chop
1tbsp season salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp garlic
1/4 cup minced onion (optional)
flour (to be used for gravy)
1 cup chicken stock (can or box)
Season pork chops with season salt and pepper. Place in skillet on med-high heat. Cook for about 3 minutes each side. Take pork chops out of pan and set aside. Add about 1/2 cup of chicken stock to pan with wooden spoon. Be sure to get all the good stuff off the bottom of the pan and mix in pan for about 1 minute. Add about 1 tblsp of flour (I use wheat flour-better for you). Stir and add flour and chicken stock until it is the consistency you like.
Add 1/4 cup minced onion (optional)
Add garlic and lower heat. Place pork chops back in pan and lower heat to simmer.
Tent pan with aluminium foil or lid.
You can make brown or white rice to go with pork chops.
